MARVEL Home Access

If you are a patron of certain libraries, you can log in to MARVEL! from home simply by using your last name and library card number.  To find out if your home library is one of these, click on the blue links labeled 1 in the screenshot below.

If your library isn’t on this list, then you’ll need to create a username and password in order to access these resources from home.  The vendors require identification that users of these resources actually live in Maine.  None of your information will be shared with other parties.  To set up a new account, click on the blue link “Register here” labeled 2 in the screen shot below.  You’ll be asked for first and last name, zip code, email, telephone number and type of library you use. Some of the resources such as “Learning Express” are limited to public library users so you should set up your account with a “Public Library” affiliation.  Use your email address for your username for ease of remembering. Choose a password of at least 6 characters in a combination of letters and numbers or use the one randomly generated.  You will automatically receive an email with this information with the subject heading “MARVEL! New Registration”.  You can always retrieve your password or edit your account by using either of the links labeled 3 in the screen shot below.
